SALEM HAS A BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS TO WALK AROUND. PARK AT THE CENTRAL CAMPUS LOT AT THE BOOKSTORE WALK THROUGH THE CAMPUS AND DOWN TO FOREST RIVER PARK FOR A PICNIC LUNCH OR HAVE LUNCH @ THE SALEM DINER CHECK OUT THE SALEM PIONEER VILLAGE DURING OPERATING SEASON/HOURS.

SALEM COMMON TO DERBY LIGHTHOUSE WALK (PICKERING WHARF-SALEM FRIENDSHIP)

Start at the "T" Station. Walk to Salem Common: Continue to Walk down to Pickering Wharf Loop around the Wharf, have lunch at one of the restaurants, and then head over to the Derby Wharf, with the Friendship Ship, and head to the point where the Derby Lighthouse Stands, Head back through Salem on the return trip to the "T" Station via the Essex St. Pedestrian mall, checking out the various museums and shops along the way, end up at the Witch House, and head back along Chestnut St and make your way back over to the "T" station. Enjoy the Salem Common -Derby Lighthouse Walk.
