SANDY POND

Park on Patriot Way, Left on Sandy Pond Road. Follow the shoreline of Sandy Pond.
Eight on Snake Hill Road. R onto Wright Road. to the end. Retrace your steps back to parking.

2 miles round trip


LOWER LONG POND

Park on Mulberry Lane off Westford St.
Walk up Mulberry Lane , L on Hibiscus , Continue around onto Loon Hill Rd. which goes by Lower Long Pond and ends at Westford St. Walk Westford st back to parking on Mulberry.

1.5 miles loop

FLANNAGAN POND LOOP

Park on Snake Hill Rd. Right onto Central Ave. Walk along Flannagan Pond. R onto Groton-Harvard Rd. R onto Oak Ridge Dr. R back on Snake Hill Rd. to parking. (Can Combine with Sandy pond Rd) for longer walk/jog.

2-2.5 miles 3.5 miles with the Sandy Pond Extension

SNAKE HILL ROAD

Park at end of Pacer Way cul de sac. Follow the dirt path onto the road, from the end of the cul de sac. Turn R onto Pacer Way. Left onto Old Ayer Rd, then R on Snake HIll Rd to the end.

2-2.5 miles round trip Out and Back

Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge
Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is located in north-central Massachusetts, approximately 35 miles northwest of Boston, MA. The refuge lies within the towns of Ayer and Shirley in Middlesex County and the towns of Harvard and Lancaster in Worcester County. The refuge consists of approximately 1,667acres of upland, southern New England flood-plain forest, and wetland communities along nearly 8 miles of the Nashua River corridor.
